KEANEKARAGAMAN JENIS TUMBUHAN YANG MENJADI INANG KUPU-KUPU DI TAMAN NOSTALGIA

Taman Nostalgia merupakan salah satu ruang terbuka hijau perkotaan di Kota Kupang yang berperan penting sebagai habitat berbagai organisme, termasuk kupu-kupu. Keberadaan kupu-kupu sangat dipengaruhi oleh ketersediaan tumbuhan inang yang mendukung seluruh siklus hidupnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis tumbuhan yang menjadi inang kupu-kupu serta menganalisis tingkat keanekaragaman tumbuhan inang di Taman Nostalgia. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Juli–Agustus 2024 menggunakan metode deskriptif eksploratif melalui observasi langsung di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 9 spesies tumbuhan inang dari 8 famili dengan total 164 individu, antara lain Gliricidia sepium, Plumeria rubra, Passiflora foetida, Bougainvillea sp., Stachytarpheta cayennensis, Azadirachta indica, Mangifera indica, Zinnia elegans, dan Bidens alba. Nilai indeks keanekaragaman Shannon-Wiener sebesar 2,13 menunjukkan kategori keanekaragaman sedang, dengan indeks kemerataan 0,97 dan indeks dominansi 0,13 yang mengindikasikan komunitas tumbuhan relatif stabil dan tidak didominasi oleh satu spesies tertentu. Keanekaragaman tumbuhan inang ini berperan penting dalam mendukung keberlangsungan populasi kupu-kupu dan menjaga keseimbangan ekosistem taman kota.Downloads
